Each February, Black History Month serves as both a celebration of the rich cultural heritage, triumphs and adversities that are an indelible part of our country's history, and a powerful reminder that Black history is American history, Black culture is American culture, and Black stories are essential to the ongoing story of America. This celebration goes beyond one month.

Since 1976, every U.S. president has officially designated the month of February as Black History Month. This year is no exception.

On February 8, 2022, the Training Division will be virtually Celebrating Black History Month with The Honorable Tanya S. Chutkan. Please register here for the event.
