The Defender Services Diversity Fellowship Program will place twelve (12) Non-Capital Fellows in federal defender host offices throughout the U.S. for a two-year period beginning in September 2022.  DSO is thrilled to announce that 246 applications were received from applicants representing more than 100 law schools and over 45 states and territories. Non-Capital Fellows will be selected by the end of April 2022.

The operational guidelines for the capital component of the Fellowship Program, which places two Capital Fellows in federal defender offices for a two-year period, are in development, and the application process is anticipated to open this summer. A program flyer with more information will be distributed in early February.
