The United States Sentencing Commission released its Fiscal Year 2021 - 1st Quarter Preliminary Cumulative Data Report (October 1, 2020, through December 31, 2020) on Tuesday.
The data shows several data points, including the increase in downward variances and invariably, reduction in the rate of courts imposing within Guidelines sentences.
