President Biden is expected to announce Thursday that his administration will require federal employees to get vaccinated or be regularly tested for Covid-19 (article available here).

The move would represent the latest effort by the administration to address the highly transmissible Delta variant of the coronavirus.

Under the policy, federal employees who are not confirmed as vaccinated would be required to wear masks at all times while at work and be tested regularly for the virus.

President Biden will outline the new protocols for federal workers during a speech Thursday.

On Monday, the federal Department of Veterans Affairs announced it will require all front-line health care workers to get vaccinated in the next two months.
