Working in public defense has always taken an emotional and even physical toll on our community but never more so than right now. Persons of color are suffering most. With these resources, we want to inspire you to take care of yourselves and seek professional help if you need it. We encourage you to look out for each other. If you see a colleague struggling, do something. We also envision that these resources could be helpful to your clients and their families, as well as your families and friends.

"Self-care is not selfish. You cannot serve from an empty vessel." ~ Eleanor Brownn
